HOPE CARESAddress: 241 Central Park West
New York, NY 10024 Satellite Address: n.a. Website: http://Hopecaresnyc.com Email: Hopecaresnyc@gmail.com Mission: I founded HOPE CARES because of the following facts:
Social Isolation is one of the biggest risks to emotional and physical health. That is not just my opinion.
It is based on a great deal of research including a Dutch study published last year in 'The Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry.'
Having friends and family doesn't guarantee immunity from loneliness, especially if those relationships are
missing a strong PERSONAL connection.
After more than 20 years of works with older adults and becoming a certified Geriatric Care Manager, I created HOPE CARES. My goal is to connect with people on a one-on-one basis giving me the opportunity
to provide the emotional and social well-being that is so crucial to life.
Each of my clients has experienced positive transformational change. I uncover their passions - passions
long dormant. And we pursue them together. An example is an elderly client of mine who is blind and as a lifelong passion for the opera. I have found over 20 different venues that we attend together. He says 'he wouldn't want to live without me and opera in his life.
Everyone I've been fortunate to work with begins as a client but it doesn't take long for us to become dear friends. Service Provided: Socialization and emotional connection on a one-on-one basis. I am available 7 days a week. I do all of the research for every event we engage in insuring that every moment of our time together goes perfectly.
I also make sure that for each person's interests there is a wide array of different and creative ways of pursuing their interests. Catchment Area: New York City and surrounding areas. Days/Hours: I'm available for my clients seven days a week. Fees: $60 per hour Primary Agency Contact: Hope Reiner HOPE CARES, founder (212) 580-3256 Hopecaresnyc@gmail.com
